While more and more of the common folk seem to be accepting that humans, with each passing uptick on the thermometer, are contributing to climate change, you wouldn’t know it from what’s happening in the corridors of power across the U.S.
Recent data from the Center for American Progress Action Fund claims that 21 governors publicly deny the reality of climate change. Last year, that number was 16. That’s made all the more interesting by the fact that 76% of the American public say they believe global warming is occurring, the highest level since the UT Energy Poll was first conducted in 2012.
