Reinventors supplements their roundtables with their tech focused blog. Here, we share with you an entry published on September 29, 2014, by Reinventors Founder and CEO, Peter Leyden, dealing with the issue of education and tech.

There is a through-line to a 21st-century digital version of elementary and high school education, and some of those closest to that future, technologists and entrepreneurs, have a pretty good idea what it will look like.

We’ve got a long way to go from today’s under-resourced classrooms, but in the coming years what students learn will be substantially different, how they learn will go through a huge paradigm shift, and how teachers teach will be flipped on its head as well.

That was one big takeaway from our Reinvent Digital Education roundtable led by Hadi Partovi, a well-known serial entrepreneur and cofounder of the educational non-profit Code.org, which is now helping teach kids how to code software in 40,000 classrooms across America.
