Why Jason is running:

My vision for South Euclid is borne out of reasons that I chose to make this community my home; a wonderful place to raise my family. South Euclid’s most valuable resources are its diverse housing stock, parks and neighborhood schools. Its prime location as an inner ring suburb affords its residents convenient access to the many cultural, recreational and retail opportunities that the region offers.

However, the city services and amenities we cherish are under the constant threat of rising costs and dwindling revenues. Our city government must be proactive, innovative, efficient and transparent in order to maintain these vital services and our low tax burden. Local government must actively engage its residents for their input and involvement, while providing direction and accountability.

The relationship between city government and its residents is intimate and potentially productive if a forum for the exchange of ideas about the function and direction of the city is provided and utilized. The future of South Euclid must be decided today in order to be visualized. Success is not accomplished by complacency. We need “Tomorrow’s voice, today.”
