Nick Melvoin for Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education

Nick Melvoin was a 2015 NLC-Los Angeles Fellow and is currently running for a seat on the Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education. Nick earned his bachelor’s from Harvard University, his masters from Loyola Marymount University, and his law degree from the NYU School of Law. Nick previously worked as a 7th and 8th grade teacher in Los Angeles and served in the White House on the Domestic Policy Council. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at Loyola Marymount University and plays an active role in the community, serving in numerous organizations such as the LA County Young Democrats, Teach for America Associates and the Brentwood Community Council
